• Auren, a Spanish firm in the global professional services sector, specializing in audit, legal advisory, consulting, and corporate finance services, has announced that the European private equity fund Waterland Private Equity has acquired a significant stake in the company. 1
• Tikehau Capital has acquired a controlling stake in Juan Navarro García, a Murcia-based company specializing in natural ingredients like paprika and oleoresins. Founded in 1865, JNG exports 90% of its products to over 45 countries, serving major food, flavor, and fragrance corporations. This acquisition aligns with Tikehau’s commitment to regenerative agriculture and sustainability, made through its private equity strategy developed with AXA and Unilever. Queka Real Partners and JNG’s management will retain minority stakes. The investment supports JNG’s international growth while reinforcing Tikehau Capital’s strategy of promoting sustainable production models and preserving natural resources. 2
• Altia has acquired **Verne Technology Group’**s Data and Artificial Intelligence business unit, including Verne Academy, for €4.15 million. This acquisition adds over 110 professionals to Altia, enhancing its capabilities in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and IT training. The acquired units reported revenues of €7.7 million and an EBITDA of €0.9 million in 2024. Verne Technology Group will now focus on its core telecommunications business, including network infrastructure and connectivity projects. 3

• Spanish digital consultancy Cloud District has acquired Both.rocks, a company specializing in innovation, artificial intelligence (AI), and data. While financial terms were not disclosed, this acquisition increases Cloud District’s team to 85 professionals and is expected to boost its revenue from €5 million in 2024 to over €7 million in 2025. With offices in Madrid, New York, Valencia, Barcelona, Málaga, and Vigo, Cloud District aims to bridge the gap between AI experimentation and real-world application. 4
• Seresco, a Spanish technology consultancy, has acquired 75% of Portuguese firm F5IT – Tecnologias de Informação Lda for €2.5 million. Founded in 2006 and based in Lisbon, F5IT specializes in the analysis, development, customization, and implementation of the SAGE X3 enterprise management solution. The company employs 33 professionals, serves approximately 120 clients, and reported revenues of €2.9 million in 2024. This acquisition strengthens Seresco’s position in providing enterprise management solutions within the SAGE environment across the Iberian Peninsula 5
• Belgian investment fund Amavi Capital has invested €10 million in HolaCamp, a Catalan premium camping company, acquiring a minority stake while its founders retain control. This marks Amavi’s first investment in Spain, aimed at fostering innovation and digital transformation in traditional sectors like real estate. With 11 campsites and one under tour operation, HolaCamp expects to generate €30 million in revenue by 2025. The company plans to expand further in Spain, Portugal, and other European markets. 6
• Spanish telecom company Telefonica, opens new tab agreed to sell its stake in its Colombian unit to Millicom, opens new tab for $400 million, as part of a strategy to gradually reduce its exposure to Latin America. Last month, Telefonica sold its unit in Argentina and earlier this month media reported the company had started the process to sell its units in Mexico and Peru. 7
• Everfield, a European long-term investor and growth accelerator, has acquired Vozitel, a Spanish provider of end-to-end Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) and AI solutions for businesses across a wide range of industries. With a strong focus on artificial intelligence, Vozitel has developed advanced AI-powered CallBots that transform customer interactions, optimize response times, and drive operational efficiency.8
• Grupo Lantero has acquired a majority stake in Gráficas Salnés, a packaging solutions company based in Cambados, Spain. Founded in 1995, Gráficas Salnés specializes in designing and manufacturing cardboard packaging for various industries. This acquisition strengthens Grupo Lantero’s presence in Galicia and expands its production capacity to meet growing market demand. With over 60 years of experience, Grupo Lantero has over 1,900 employees, an annual revenue exceeding €550 million, production plants in more than 12 countries, and commercial representation in over 50 markets. 9
• Spanish brewer Mahou San Miguel has acquired the remaining stake in US craft beer brand Founders Brewing Co., now owning 100% of the company. Madrid-headquartered Mahou San Miguel first became a shareholder in Founders Brewing in 2015 and later invested in Colorado-based Avery Brewing, becoming the majority stakeholder in both by 2020. The Spanish brewer’s US operations sit under its Mahou USA umbrella, which operates three production centres and employs more than 500 people. 10
