• Swiss-based investor MTIP has announced a majority investment in Verifarma, a Spanish SaaS provider specializing in serialization, traceability, and regulatory compliance solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. Founded in 2007, Verifarma serves 2000 companies in 26 countries and aims to enhance its track-and-trace technology and quality management capabilities. The investment will support further growth, particularly in Europe and Latin America. CEO Santiago Spector Mentasti and the founding team will continue to lead the company, emphasizing their commitment to making pharmaceutical supply chains safer and more transparent. 1
• HBX Group has acquired full ownership of PerfectStay, enhancing its position in the B2B2C travel market. This acquisition allows for better integration of PerfectStay’s dynamic holiday packaging technology with HBX’s global hotel inventory. The partnership aims to capitalize on the growing demand for holiday packages, which represent a significant market opportunity. PerfectStay will continue operating from Paris, benefiting from HBX’s resources and synergies to improve operational efficiency and support partners in developing holiday propositions. 2
• Eneve has acquired Nemon, a Spanish SaaS provider, to expand into the Spanish and Portuguese energy markets. This acquisition enhances Eneve’s position in the energy sector, allowing it to support over 100 energy suppliers with integrated solutions. Nemon’s clients will benefit from expanded services while maintaining local expertise. The integration is expected to take months, focusing on continuity for existing customers and adding 30 specialists to Eneve’s workforce, raising total employees to approximately 180. Eneve aims to generate over €30 million in turnover post-transaction. 3
• Andersen Consulting has partnered with Lukkap, a consultancy focused on experience-driven strategies, to enhance its capabilities in customer, employee, and digital transformation. Founded in 2009, Lukkap offers integrated solutions across various sectors, emphasizing behavioral insights and data analytics. This collaboration aims to align customer expectations and employee needs, providing holistic, experience-centric solutions to address rapid changes in client engagement and workforce management. 4
• According to El Confidencial, Spanish PE firm Nazca Capital is launching a new investment vehicle, Nazca Bluetech. This new fund has a singular purpose: to repurchase an 80% stake in Zunibal, a portfolio company specializing in satellite buoys for tuna fishing. The buyout, valued between €55.13 million and €58 million, transfers ownership from Fund IV to Bluetech. Nazca initially acquired this majority stake in Zunibal in mid-2021 to accelerate its technological development and market reach. Since then, Zunibal has successfully expanded, most recently acquiring the Australian hydroacoustic software firm Echoview to further drive growth. 5
• Andalusian company Técnicas San Jorge (Mediterrania, BIC Capital) has acquired the majority stake in Murcian firm Requasur Levante, specializing in irrigation systems and hydroponic cultivation. Requasur, established in 2002, had a revenue of €7.7 million in 2024, while Técnicas San Jorge, founded in 2000, generated €23.3 million with a workforce of around 60. The acquisition aims to enhance agricultural development projects and automated system supply.6
• Velneo has acquired Velfix, a specialized retail management software company, to enhance its low-code development platform. This strategic move strengthens Velneo’s commitment to Spanish technology and supports local businesses in transitioning to omnichannel retail. Velfix enables small retailers to integrate their product catalogs with major marketplaces like Amazon seamlessly. The acquisition also enriches Velneo’s ecosystem, promoting innovation and local talent while ensuring that technology remains user-friendly and effective for everyday retail challenges. 7
• Movento, a division of Moventia, has acquired Auto Beltrán, enhancing its presence in Barcelona with three new Mercedes-Benz dealerships. This acquisition aims to increase Movento’s market share in Catalonia, where it already holds about 70% of its business. Auto Beltrán, founded over 35 years ago, sells around 1,200 vehicles annually and has around 80 employees. Movento now operates 64 dealerships across Catalonia, Madrid, and the Balearic Islands, offering various vehicle brands and services, including vehicle rentals and fleet management. 8
• ITT, International Trucks & Tractors, has acquired two prestigious agricultural dealerships in Catalonia, Comercial i Agrícola Casacuberta and Agricat, both part of the Casacuberta Group. Comercial i Agrícola Casacuberta is a recognized distributor of New Holland, while Agricat is affiliated with Case IH, both offering sales, after-sales service, and their own workshops. 9
