Weekly collection of transactions (June 3 - 9)

• Spain-based Seedtag (Advent) has made a bold move to conquer the CTV landscape by acquiring US-based Beachfront, a premier sell-side ad platform built for Connected TV (CTV) with proprietary technology offering direct premium supply. 1

• Mediktor, a digital healthcare company, has announced the acquisition of Sensely, a San Francisco-based, digital healthcare provider that pioneered an empathy-driven conversation platform to support hospital systems and insurance services with world-class member engagement. 2

• Proclinic, controlled by Miura, accelerates its foreign expansion by acquiring the Italian VS Dental. The group will add an annual turnover of 20 million. 3

• Alvarez & Marsal has sold its 46% stake in the Spanish sustainable packaging manufacturer PackBenefit to the manager Circularity Capital, which takes absolute control of the company since it previously owned 48%. 4

• Forankra Group (Axel Johnson International) has acquired J2 SERVID, a leading provider of one-way-securing (OWS) products. This strategic move strengthens Forankra’s position in the Spanish market. 5

• Gonvarri announced the acquisition of almost all of the shares in the Slovenian company Hidria, dedicated to the production of automotive components. In 2022, it became a strategic partner of the company by acquiring more than 40% of its capital. 6

• French Group Pomona announces the acquisition of the Spanish companies “DIL” (congeladosdil.com) and “DECASA” (decasa.es) located in Castellón in the Valencia region. Founded in 1967, DIL specializes in the distribution of food products, mainly frozen, for out-of-home catering. It employs 80 people and achieved a turnover of 34 million euros in 2023. 7

• Cupa Group (Brookfield) acquires the slate group Samaca Irosa, based in Galicia. With this operation, Cupa Group strengthens its leading position as the biggest producer of slate for roofs and façades on a global scale. Established in 1968, the Samaca group has 300 employees and is formed by the companies Pizarras Samaca, a trader company, and Irosa and Pizarras Gonta, two production companies that operate five quarries and seven processing plants. Samaca recorded a turnover of 30 million euros in 2023. Its acquisition reactivates Cupa Group’s inorganic growth after it incorporated Pizarras Gallegas, Proinor, Lomba and Rinus Roofing in 2021. Cupa predicts that it will reach 500 million euros in 2025. 8

• HERITAGE B announces the divestment of Teka Group to Chinese group Midea. Teka Group specializes in the design and manufacture of household appliances and sinks. With presence in over 120 countries, a team of nearly 3,000 professionals and 10 factories in Europe, Asia, and America, Teka produces over 3 million products each year. Founded in 1968, Midea is a listed technology group with more than 190,000 employees worldwide. Headquartered in Foshan, Guangdong province (China), the Asian group closed 2023 with a turnover of 48 billion euros.9

• DeA Capital acquires Talde Private Equity’s stake in Ñaming, Spain’s leading sandwich company. Taste of Italy 2 Fund, managed by DeA Capital Alternative Funds, partners with the management team of the fresh and ultra-fresh food elaborating group.10
