Weekly collection of transactions (June 10 - 16)

• Pluxee Group, a France-based company specializing in providing corporate prepaid cards that simplify compensation management for companies, agreed to acquire 100% of Spain-based Cobee. Cobee, based in Madrid, specializes in managing a platform that unifies, simplifies and automates the management of employee benefits and flexible compensation.1

• Berger-Levrault, the international solutions group for the public sector, has acquired Madrid-based Savia, Human Resources and payroll software for Public Administrations. 2

• Moira Capital invests 10 million euros in the Riojan company NeuronUP to boost its expansion and internationalization process. Located in Logroño, this company operates in the field of cognitive rehabilitation, through its own platform aimed at psychologists, neuropsychologists, therapists and speech therapists using it in the rehabilitation processes of their patients affected by a neurological disorder. 3

• Hugging Face, a US-based entity specializing in software development for programming, acquired Spain-based Argilla. Argilla, based in Madrid, is engaged in the development of a platform that allows the creation of Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions. 4

• Málaga-based Alcoaxarquía (Tresmares Capital) has taken a stake in Janus Fruit, dedicated to the production of avocado-based spreads. Janus is a company that was promoted by Anecoop and its partner Rural San Vicente Ferrer of Benaguasil. It is a ready-to-eat manufacturer created in 2017 that markets several references of avocado spreads under Anecoop’s own brands. 5

• The Catalan meat group Zander Foods, through its company Premier Foods & Meat, has acquired the century-old firm Embotits Espina, also dedicated to the meat sector and originally from Vic. The operation occurs as part of the expansion and consolidation strategy in the Zander Foods sector. Zander Foods closed 2023 with a turnover of 35 million euros, and plans to reach 60 million in 2024 and 100 million euros in 2025. 6

• The telecommunications operator Parlem has purchased the telecommunications unit of the Pinergia cooperative, which will allow it to offer mobile telephone and fiber optic services in the Pyrenees area with its own network and radio link. 7

• Navarra-based Lodisna, specialized in international transport and logistics, has recently closed the acquisition of three transport companies that operate nationally and in niches and services complementary to its own, such as refrigerated transport. These are the Navarra-based Andotrans, the Madrid-based Transportes Pibejo and the Rioja-based Navajas, companies with which Lodisna gains muscle and management capacity, increasing its total workforce to 800 people and doubling its fleet of trucks. 8

• The Barcelona consulting firms Enzyme Advising Group and Revo Partners have decided to join together under a new brand called Strategic Platform. After this transaction, which unites the strategic and technological areas of the respective companies, the new group will have 150 professionals and this year expects to reach 18 million euros in revenue.9

• Spain-based distribution group HD Covalco has acquired a 51% stake in Barcelona-based family-owned supermarket chain Superservis.10
