Weekly collection of transactions (July 15 - 21)

• Jacobs Holding announced that it has agreed to acquire ILERNA, a leading provider of official vocational education in Spain from Skill & You, a portfolio company of IK Partners. The organization offers a wide range of online courses. ILERNA has developed a physical presence with 11 centers providing onsite instruction to complement its online offering1

• Nexxus Iberia acquires the container manufacturer Contenur from ACON Investments. Funds managed by Schroders and the EIF co-invest in the company. Contenur had a turnover of more than 170 million euros in 2023.2

• Everfield, the Europe-based, long-term B2B software investor, has acquired 4GL, a Spanish provider of gas station management solutions. This marks Everfield’s first investment in Spain. Located in Murcia, 4GL is one of the leading providers of management solutions for gas stations of major Spanish brands.3

• Investindustrial has agreed to acquire Delta Tecnic, a specialty chemical manufacturer focused on the production of tailor-made colour and additivemasterbatches for a variety of industries, including the wire & cables sector where it is one of the market leaders. In 2023, Delta Tecnic generated revenue of approximately €60 million. With a total workforce of over 200 employees, the Company has a well-established global presence, selling in over 60 countries (more than 70% of revenue generated outside of Spain). 4

• ECIJA has formalized the minority entry of Alia Capital Partners, an independent private equity firm of Spanish origin. The firm expects to exceed the figure of 100 million in revenue in 2024 and plans to acquire firms and teams. 5

• The mobility company Avanza, a subsidiary of the Mexican multinational Mobility Ado, acquired Julián de Castro, a bus route operator in the northwest of the Community of Madrid. The transaction is pending approval from the National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC). 6

• Quadpack Industries and PSB Industries announce their project to combine Quadpack and PSB’s main subsidiary Texen into a single group, placing the two beauty packaging manufacturers and providers under the umbrella of PSB Industries. The group will be positioned among the Top 5 cosmetics packaging companies worldwide, boasting combined sales of around €350 million, over 2,000 employees, an industrial presence in six countries and operational and commercial operations in Asia, Europe and the Americas. 7

• ACE Education, the educational group that has among its reference partners Groupe Amaury (the owner of the sports newspaper L’Equipe in France among other things) and Oakley Capital, jumps into specialized training in video games with the acquisition of a Valencia-based ESAT. ACE currently has 47 campuses in Europe and more than 9,000 students, offering specialized higher education in the areas of Sports Management, Fashion Management and Tourism & Luxury Management. With the incorporation of ESAT it expands its catalog of offerings to a growing sector such as video games and digital creation. 8

• Capsa Food takes over 40% of Innolact (Quescrem), the company that produces the only Galician mascarpone. The alliance between the group company Central Lechera Asturiana and Innolact seeks to strengthen the capacity of both to innovate and grow together and will not imply changes in management. 9

• Movento takes the majority of the Roxa Group to disembark in the Balearic Islands. The Moventia subsidiary will exclusively market the Volkswagen brand in Mallorca. The dealership chain expects to have a turnover of 700 million in 2024.10
