• Mutua Group and GPF Partners have reached an agreement whereby the former will acquire 100% of Motortown and Aurgi, stores and centres specialising in car products and services. The acquisition was made by Mutuamad Mobility, a company that integrates the Mutua Group’s stakes in Voltio and Centauro. The acquisition of Motortown and Aurgi by Mutuamad Mobility follows the recent investments of the Mutua Group in mobility startups Mundimoto, V2C and Recomotor.1

• GED Capital has sold its stake in ARAVEN GROUP to the multinational company CFS Brands. Based in Zaragoza, Araven is a company specialising in professional hospitality equipment: food preservation, handling, organization, and transportation, etc. It is highly recognized and prestigious among top chefs and culinary schools. 2

• Emprendedores is now fully integrated into the SNGULAR group. Founded in 1997, Emprendedores has evolved from a print magazine to a comprehensive platform that supports over a million users. Emprendedores is SNGULAR’s fourth acquisition in 2024, following Navandu, Circular, and Tecnofor, as part of a strategy to build a robust ecosystem of complementary services that enhance strategic consultancy capabilities.3

• Everfield, the Europe-based, long-term B2B software investor, announced the acquisition of Gstock, a software specialist in inventory management for restaurants and hotels. This is Evergield’s second acquisition in Spain, the first one, 4GL, a Spanish provider of gas station management solutions, was announced a few days ago. 4

• Dutch drinks group Refresco has acquired Spanish plant-based beverage maker Frías Nutrición from its private-equity owner Alantra. Frías produces private-label plant-based drinks, including almond, rice, hazelnut, and soy drinks, for several Spanish retailers. The group has a production facility located in Burgos, Spain and employs around 250 people. 5

• GTM, an industrial services engineering company, and the Private Equity firm Henko Partners have joined forces with the aim of growing in the sector of providing services for the wind and photovoltaic sectors. The transaction will involve the alliance between their respective subsidiaries, the wind division of Tamoin and Revergy, to create a group that will lead the market for supporting renewable energy in Spain. The resulting group expects to reach a turnover of 50 million euros. 6

• The academies Prefortia, Jurispol and Forvide have reached an agreement for their integration to create Versus, a new leading group in e-learning training for public service examinations in Spain. The agreement also includes the incorporation of Corpfin Capital as strategic partner and shareholder of the group, with the aim to accelerate the academic and technological development of Versus Group. 7

• ProA Capital is extending its investment in dental products manufacturer IPD. The Spanish private equity firm has raised a 200 million euro vehicle to build a leading European platform in the dental sector called Life Dental around the Spanish company. IPD is joined by NT, a leading German brand in prosthetic restoration that has just become part of the group. ZARC is the third business that forms part of Life Dental. This is an Asturian company specialising in the endodontics segment. 8

• Saica Group has reached an agreement with Schumacher Packaging to acquire their Polish subsidiary. That includes all activities in Poland: the whole management, all employees, two state-of-the-art corrugated board plants in Bydgoszcz and Wroclaw, two paper mills in Grudziadz and Myszków, one of which was completely modernised in 2023 and three service centres. 9

• Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, through his company CR7 SA, has acquired a 30% stake in Vista Alegre España, the domestic subsidiary of the Portuguese company specialising in the production of high-quality porcelain, glass and crystal pieces. The company has stores in Madrid and Barcelona, as well as outlets within El Corte Inglés in different cities across the country.10
