• Izertis acquires Keifi, a consultancy firm focused on the development of technological solutions in the field of capital markets (brokerage, settlement and custody), financial asset distribution platforms and digital transformation projects. • Hitachi Energy acquires Spain based eks Energy, a leading supplier of power electronics and energy management solutions for storage and renewables integration. 2
• The Spanish startup Signalit has acquired Noister to develop a real-time observability platform that will allow companies to have “full control” over their associated data and costs. Following this acquisition, the new combined company will be called Onum. 3
• Surexport Compañía Agraria (“Surexport”), an Alantra Private Equity portfolio company and Europe’s leading independent producer and distributor of fresh berries, has successfully completed three highly strategic add-on acquisitions: Portuguese raspberry producer Solana, Moroccan blueberry producer AG Group, and Spanish organic berry producer Flor de Doñana. 4
• Mahou San Miguel has acquired a 40% stake in the Servitel Group, a company with which there had been a long time collaboration for the supply of equipment to bars and restaurants. 5
• Smithfield takes control of Argal, a historic meat company borned in 1914 in Pamplona. This year the company forecasts 440 million euros in revenue. Smithfield Foods is an American group with a historical tradition in the sector. It employs nearly 60,000 people distributed in seven countries around the world. The owner of the brand is the Chinese group WH 6
• Sabseg Group, an insurance brokerage services entity controlled by Spain-based private equity firm Miura Partners, acquired several brokerage firms in Madrid. 7
• TheProject, a company engaged in the organization of musical events, acquired 80% stake of Éxits Espectacles from Éxits Managers & Produccions. 8
• French group Riou Glass acquires 100% of Catalan company Vidresif. Based in Porqueres (Pla de l’Estany) Vidresif specializes in the manufacture of technical glass. 9
• Hijos de Rivera acquires Soul K, Andalusian kombucha manufacturing company. The Galician group reinforces its alcohol-free beverage business with this acquisition. 10
