• HT Médica, a company in the field of imaging diagnosis in Andalusia, Spain, has opened its capital to private equity firm Fremman. This move is part of HT Médica’s strategy to consolidate and expand its growth project. 1
• Palex Group acquires 100% of Innovamedica, an Italian company supplying high-tech solutions to healthcare centres. The transaction was carried out through Gada Group, the subsidiary through which Palex has been operating in Italy since 2022. 2
• Portobello Capital, a prominent Spanish private equity firm, has ventured into the vehicle technical inspection (ITV) business in Portugal through its minority fund. The firm acquired a 24% stake in Controlauto from Brisa, a Portuguese toll road concessionaire. 3
• Alliance Healthcare, a major player in the pharmaceutical distribution industry, has significantly expanded its market position by acquiring Centro Farmacéutico. This strategic move positions Alliance Healthcare as a closer competitor to Hefame in terms of market share. 4
• Simplicity Aligners, a company specializing in orthodontic aligners, has expanded its operations in Spain by integrating the activities of PerfekteSmil, a firm focused on similar orthodontic solutions. 5
• Caser, a significant player in the insurance sector, has diversified its portfolio by entering the funeral services market through the acquisition of Pompas Fúnebres de Padrón.6
• Housfy, a real estate platform, has acquired Finques Feliu, a traditional real estate agency. This acquisition represents a strategic move for Housfy, blending its tech-driven real estate model with Finques Feliu’s established presence in the traditional real estate market. 7
• Westinghouse Electric Company, a global player in nuclear technology and services, has acquired 100% ownership of Tecnatom, a Spanish engineering company specializing in nuclear plant operation and maintenance. 8
• Grupo Moure, owner of the low-cost gas stations Autonetoil and the Elefante Azul car wash centers, acquires the Balearic company Petroest to consolidate its presence in the islands and maintain strong growth. A few weeks ago Cepsa announced the acquisition of Ballenoil. 9
• Stikets, a company known for its personalized labels, has acquired the assets of Camaloon, a Barcelona-based firm specializing in customized promotional products. 10
