• The Workout Group, which includes Workout Events (event services and staffing), Workout Retail (focused on point-of-sale implementation and promotion), and Workout ETT (specializing in talent selection), has added Goros Investments as a new partner to its project.1

• Surexport, a leading European player in the production and commercialization of berries, has acquired a majority stake in Jong Fruit, a Dutch strawberry producer. 2

• Innometal (Mirai Investments) has acquired Catalan manufacturer of metal structures Manipulados y Acabados Metálicos (MAM) according to La Vanguardia. Founded in 1978, MAM employs 220 people, has two plants in Catalonia and had a turnover of EUR 36m in 2022. 3

• Ferrovial and Renault Group have reached an agreement to sell the entire 50% of Ferrovial’s stake in Zity by Mobilize to its partner Renault Group. Via Mobilize, Renault Group has decided to pursue its initiatives in terms of responsible and easy-to-access mobility solutions while Ferrovial will continue to focus its investments on activities linked to its core business, the development and operation of sustainable infrastructure. 4

• Basic-Fit has reached an agreement with the RSG Group, one of the largest multi-brand fitness club operators in Europe, for the acquisition of RSG Spain. With the intended acquisition, Basic-Fit will acquire all 42 McFIT clubs and all 5 Holmes Place clubs in Spain. 5

• “MaserGrup – Fruselva”, Spanish group with productive activity in the food and beverage sectors acquires the food holding group “Costa Concentrados Levantinos”. Costa Concentrados Levantinos is a company with Valencian origins that emerged from the Costa family’s venture in 1897 in Albal (Valencia) with the aim of creating a unique tiger nut concentrate. 6

• ProA Capital, a Spanish private equity firm, has acquired a majority stake (around 70%) in Acrylicos Vallejo, a manufacturer of acrylic paints for model-making, fine arts, and decorative arts. 7

• India-based online travel booking portal TBO Tek’s subsidiary, Tek Travels DMCC, has acquired 100% shareholding of Jumbonline Accommodations & Services, which has been demerged as an online business from Spain-based Jumbo Tours Group, one of the biggest international tourism operators. With this acquisition, TBO intends to further increase its presence in Europe. 8

• Seidor Tech has acquired Valladolid-based Avenet IT. This acquisition expands Seidor Tech’s geographical reach into Castilla y León and is expected to increase the company’s annual turnover to €30 million and its workforce to over 200 employees. Avenet IT will contribute more than 20 employees, €7 million in annual turnover and an expanded portfolio of technological services and solutions. This purchase follows Seidor Tech’s earlier acquisitions of Valnera Consultoría y Sistemas and Avanti21. 9

• The private equity firm Nzyme (backed by Kibo Ventures and supported by Oliver Wyman and Almond) acquired a majority stake in Dental Ibérica, a dental materials and products distributor based in Asturias, Spain. The acquisition aims to support the company’s growth both in Spain and internationally. 10
