• Miura Partners has sold its stake in Terrats Medical, a global provider of dental prosthetics, including abutments and implants to US private equity firm focused on healthcare Avista Capital Partners. Terrats’ founders have reinvested in the company and will continue to lead the business. Miura will continue to support Terrats in the next phase of its growth with a minority investment. 1
• Sherpa Capital has taken a controlling stake in Logística Carosan, entrying into the logistics sector. This is the second transaction of Sherpa in 2024, after acquiring Cristalinas, Spain’s air freshener producer. 2
• Plameca, a spin off from Suanfarma (Archimed), has expanded its business by acquiring ATP Farma for €18 million. This acquisition is aimed at enhancing its product offerings in nutritional supplements and herbal products. The combined revenue of Plameca and Suanfarma exceeds €30 million, with an EBITDA around €6 million. 3
• ATREVIA has expanded in Latin America by acquiring Nueva Comunicación Uruguay, a corporate communication and public affairs agency. This acquisition is part of ATREVIA’s growth plan, already operating in 12 Latin American countries. This is ATREVIA’s sixth acquisition since late 2022. ATREVIA’s acquisition in Uruguay follows its earlier purchase of Microbio Gentleman in January. 4
• Indra completes the purchase of Global Training Aviation and enhances its standing as one of the world’s leading simulation companies. 5

• Comerzzia, a subsidiary of Grupo Tier1, has strengthened its commitment to the hospitality sector by acquiring an additional 12% stake in Nextt, achieving a majority shareholding of 52%. This move, part of a pre-agreed option that was executed within five months due to successful company integration and synergy, enhances Comerzzia’s focus on the HORECA sector, reinforcing its role in digital transformation and innovation in restaurant services. 6
• Teknia, a Spanish multinational specialising in the manufacture of metal and plastic components for mobility, has acquired Xpander, a Spanish company specialising in digital transformation consultancy, the sale of proprietary software and developments based on blockchain technology. This acquisition will allow Teknia to fulfil one of the objectives set out in its strategic plan “Moving Teknia 2025”, with which the company seeks to adapt to the new needs of the industry and increase its technological capabilities. 7
• Avatel continues its expansion in Alicante by acquiring Cloudfibre, a Xàbia-based company offering telecom services. This acquisition aligns with Avatel’s strategic growth, having acquired 25 telecom companies in 2023 and continuing its national expansion into new regions in 2024. 8
• Bregal Unternehmerkapital portfolio company and Italy-based Italgel acquired Spanish collagen specialist Protein. The acquisition aims to strengthen Italgel’s position in the international market, particularly in the sale and distribution of collagen products. 9
• Tionale, a Singaporean company operating in 80 countries and specializing in the wholesale distribution of various products, is making its entry into the Spanish market through the acquisition of Pharmediq. Based in Oviedo, Asturias, Pharmediq is well-known in the region for significantly expanding its business during the pandemic, particularly for importing masks. However, the company has recently entered into bankruptcy proceedings.10
