⢠France-based Doctrine (Summit Partners) has acquired Maite.ai, Spanish legal AI platform, marking its entry into the Spanish market and expanding its customer base to 27,000 legal professionals across Europe. Founded in 2024, Maite.ai has rapidly gained traction, serving over 2,000 clients with an advanced legal AI copilot. This acquisition strengthens Doctrineâs leadership in legal AI while maintaining Maite.aiâs brand and team. Both companies aim to enhance legal services across Europe, ensuring compliance with GDPR and high security standards.1
⢠ABE Capital has expanded its health platform, Mediance, by acquiring the Valencian startup Mysphera, which specializes in digitalizing hospital circuits with real-time location tracking. Mysphera has deployed its technology in over 60 hospitals, serving 290,000 patients, and reported revenues of 2.32 million euros in 2024. The acquisition aims to enhance Medianceâs market position in the fragmented healthcare sector. 2
⢠Mondragon Assembly has acquired ATP Engineering & Packaging, a Barcelona-based company with 30 years of experience in packaging machinery. This move enhances Mondragonâs technological strengths and diversifies its business into the food packaging sector. ATP brings established market presence and expertise, while Mondragon offers financial resources and access to new markets. 3
⢠LĂŠon Grosse has acquired Grupo IC, a Spanish company in interior design for retail and luxury sectors, as part of its strategic plan Cap 2030. This acquisition enhances LĂŠon Grosseâs international diversification, aiming for over 20% of its activity outside France by 2030. Grupo IC, founded in 1989, has a projected revenue of âŹ70 million in 2025 and operates primarily in Spain and France. The merger aligns with both companiesâ shared values of technical excellence and customer satisfaction, bolstering LĂŠon Grosseâs presence in Southern Europe. 4
⢠UK-based Gâs has acquired Murcia-based Kernel Export to enhance its agri-food presence. The transaction includes over 35,000 sq m of handling and storage facilities in Los AlcĂĄzares. Kernel Export, established 44 years ago, markets around 25,000 tonnes of product, generating EUR 33.8m in sales in 2024, primarily from exports. Gâs reported 2024 sales of EUR 235m, with Spain contributing 40% to its global business. 5
⢠Catalan automotive group Llavina has acquired Ippon Motor Vallès from Yomovo, aiming for a 57% revenue increase to approximately âŹ220 million in 2026. This acquisition adds two Toyota dealerships in Sant Cugat and Sabadell, further expanding Llavinaâs presence in the Vallès Occidental region. Founded in 1980, Llavina emphasizes a commitment to Toyota and Lexus. The company had a revenue of âŹ140 million in 2025 and Ippon Motor Vallès reported âŹ76 million in 2024. 6
⢠Aviko has acquired the remaining 75% of Eurofrits, a Spanish frozen potato products producer, fully integrating it into their portfolio. This acquisition strengthens Avikoâs position in the snackables market and aligns with Royal Consun (Avikoâs owner) strategy, aimed at growth in value-added categories across Europe. Both companies have collaborated since 2009, and this move enhances their ability to respond to regional preferences and demand, particularly in the Iberian market. 7
⢠Rich Products Corporation has acquired a majority stake in LĂĄcteos Industriales Agrupados (Liasa), which owns Inleit, Spainâs sole milk protein factory. The Escobar family will remain significantly involved in the company. This transition aims to enhance growth opportunities and innovation, leveraging Richâs international presence to expand Inleitâs market reach and technological capabilities. 8
⢠The Equipson Group announced the acquisition of Musicson, one of Spainâs oldest professional audio manufacturer, founded in 1965. This integration enhances Equipsonâs production capabilities for large-format audio systems, strengthening its strategy to produce professional audio equipment entirely in Spain. 9
⢠The Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) has acquired ESESA in MĂĄlaga, aiming to be a strategic partner for companies needing technological talent. ESESA was previosly linked to IMF (Capza). UCAM-ESESA will maintain ESESAâs programs while expanding its academic offerings, including a new Bachelorâs in Entrepreneurship. 10
